The Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital is the most important hospital complex of social security in Peru.

Its staff is made up of 1,100 doctors (excluding resident doctors), 1,500 nurses, 46 nutritionists, 41 psychologists, 60 medical technologists, 890 nursing assistants and technicians, and 350 administrative workers. It has 93 medical specialties, 1,600 beds and 115 external offices. In addition, it makes more than 60,000 consultations per month.
