The Austin Hospital is one of the main facilities under Austin Health. They offer a range of comprehensive services to the community surrounding the North and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The Austin Hospital offers impressive state-wide services including, the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit, Spinal Cord Service, Acquired Brain Injury Unit, Child Mental Health Inpatient Unit and the Respiratory Support Service.

In partnership with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre, it forms one of the largest cancer research programs in Australia. There is a significant focus on better patient outcomes through world class treatment, clinical trials and personalised wellness programs.

Currently The Austin accommodates 400 acute patients, each room equipped all-inclusive of en suite facilities. Additionally, there is 30 beds in the Intensive Care Unit, 55 mental health beds and a specialist six-bed unit for children.
