Cho Ray Phnom Penh Hospital – Located along National road 1, Phnom Penh Cambodia, is a great achievement born wise initiative of the Leaders of the two countries: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of kingdom of Cambodia and H.E Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Under close Cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and Government of Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The construction project of Cho Ray hospital in Phnom Penh was included in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding in friendly cooperation between Phnom Penh capital city and Ho Chi Minh, Which was signed in January 2004. This hospital received support with close cooperation from Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, The largest and famous hospital in Vietnam. Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City is a large and reputable hospital in Vietnam in terms of quality, service and years of experience in the treatment, both stable and severe conditions. Cho Ray Hospital welcomes and offers treatment even patient are in severe conditions that other hospital refused to hospitalized. In the meantime, the hospital is well- known and greatly supported by majority of Cambodian patients, who travel from their home country to seek for health service and treatment in Vietnam. Thus to reduce the cost of travelling in seeking for treatment and health service in Vietnam, Cho Ray Hospital decided to invest its branch in Phnom Penh , Cambodia and Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
